Welcome To The Rubbish Party Website
What we stand for
Getting rid of all types of rubbish from our community:
- Wasted resources
- Litter
- Dog fouling
- Pollution
- Fly Tipping
THE RUBBBISH PARTY maintains that the following are key in a developed nation:
- Good housing
- Excellent health care
- An excellent standard of education that is accessible to all
- The right to live in a ‘litter free society’
- Plus, and most importantly, the eradication of poverty
The Rubbish Party stands for supporting the community and its constituents. Many community issues have nothing to do with national policies but have a huge impact on our lives and wellbeing.
As a “non-political” political party, it has the freedom to choose what is right for the community.
When you vote for The Rubbish Party, you know you are voting for progress and opening up to real change. The Rubbish Party does not have to tow any party line. Its view on politics means we can co-exist with other political parties.
Remember, you can support The Rubbish Party at Local Council elections but still vote SNP, Labour, Liberal Democrat or Conservative at Parliamentary elections

A bit about…
Sally Cogley
Sally is a founding member and leader of
The Rubbish Party
- She has no time for “rubbish”. If it’s in your parks, on your roads or within government policies, it’s on her radar.
- Since getting involved with the local community council in 2007 and then being elected as a Councillor in 2017, Sally has been championing the cause of the Irvine Valley.
From organising litter picks and declaring that the litter regulatory framework is “rubbish”, to proposing a motion to council to put teaching staff at the front of the vaccination queue and organising an Irvine Valley Business Development morning, Sally stands up for the best of East Ayrshire.
