The Valley Dash - Top Starters and Finishers - a big thank you to Kilmarnock Harriers and the race organisers for making the event happen.
If you have never run the race before, it is a pleasurable 4+ miles over a gently undulating course (lol)!! If you have run it, then ignore that and remember the fast downhill section and the complementary beer and buffet at the end!

🗑️ You may have noticed bins being removed from King Street in Kilmarnock.
Some bins have been taken out for now, but don’t worry – new compacting bins will be installed in the next few weeks. The remaining bins will stay in place until the new ones are ready to use.
And while there will eventually be fewer bins on the street, the new ones can hold around four times more waste than the current standard bin.
They’re also designed to keep out seagulls and vermin, and sensors will alert our waste teams when they’re full so they can be emptied more quickly.
Once the new bins are in place, the remaining older bins will be removed.
It’s all part of the wider investment in Cleaner Communities, helping keep our town centres cleaner and making better use of the bins we have. ♻️ ...
